What is the Geostream Service?

Geostream is a wellsite service drawing together experienced geologists and the unique HRH software technology - Gravitas.

Well data is streamed from multiple vendors to the Geostream geologist at the rig, analysed and transformed into geological information and sent in synchronised batches directly to the operations geologist and to the oil company Gravitas database location.

Password protected, multi-user access allows asset geologists, geoscientists and the office based well team to use the geological information and well data directly in office databases and interpretation software.

How does Geostream Service Work?

The Geostream service comes complete with skilled wellsite geologists and a licence for the Gravitas software both on the rig and at the oil company office.

In today's digital oilfield, geological data gathering, interpretation, communication and storage is vital to maximise the potential of every well.


  • The WinDART data acquisition module of Gravitas collects and delivers WITS data streams from multiple vendors on the rig directly to the Geostream geologist and the wellsite Gravitas database
  • Having thoroughly QC'd the raw data, the Geostream geologists apply their knowledge and experience to integrate all well data into geological information
  • The geological information and raw well data are sent in synchronised batches, as frequently as required, from the rig to the main Gravitas database at the oil company office and directly to the operations geologist
  • Through protected multi-user access, office geoscientists and well teams see and use this centralised, QC'd data and information set
  • Both at the rig and in the office, the data in the Gravitas database is easily and quickly transformed into visualisations such as lithlogs, core logs, multiwell correlations and composite logs using the Winlog for Gravitas software
  • With the Repgen Gravitas module, customised reports such as prognoses, daily, summary and final well report templates are populated directly with the QC'd data from the Gravitas database, speeding compilation and completion
