The history and timeline of HRH

2007 - The launch of Geostream : Geology for the Digital Oilfield.

2006 - Gravitas Software System is launched in London, UK at Petex 2006. The HRH office in Malaysia is opened.

2005 - The Wincore sedimentary software is launched as an option to Winlog.

2004 - Development of the Gravitas Software System. HRH is one of the companies chosen for the Scottish Enterprise Global Companies Development Programme. With offices in the UAE, USA, Indonesia and the UK, HRH now employs 50 people in 4 continents.

2003 - HRH continues to grow and evolve. Now, with five different business streams serving customers in 50 countries, offices are opened in Jakarta, Indonesia and in Houston, USA. Products and services include :

  • Geological software
  • Wellsite geology, geologging and sample drying
  • Geological training and consultancy
  • Gas detection and analysis
  • Drilling instrumentation

2002 - The launch of the Winlog TVD software.

2001 - HRH acquires their new headquarters building in Aberdeen, UK and receives Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.

2000 - The launch of the QAL Lithology software application. HRH is growing worldwide, employing 45 people and exporting over 50% of their products and services.

1999 - The HRH office in Abu Dhabi, UAE is opened to meet the increasing customer demand.

1998 - HRH wins the Small Company Category in the Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards achieving recognition for their clear commitment to R & D and delivery of customised solutions. Winlog Pro is launched and HRH has grown to 38 employees.

1997 - The launch year of the world renowned Winlog log drawing software. With its Windows based interface, Winlog overtakes the technology of all competitors. HRH now employs 30 people.

1996 - The Geologging concept has been well received and HRH provides the sole service on six platforms in the UKCS and in the Middle East.

1995 - Understanding the needs of their customers, HRH launches the log drawing bureau service.

1994 - Following changes in the petroleum economy, HRH develops the Geologging concept.

1993 - HRH develops and launches of the Fastgas Chromatograph for wellsite gas analysis.

1992 - The Geologic software, a precursor to Winlog, is launched. Geologic is the world's first independent log-drawing system for geologists.

1991 - The Wellsite Geology division is established. HRH now supplies professional wellsite and operations geologists to the petroleum industry. HRH has expanded to 10 employees.

1990 - Drilgas gas detection product launched, the first standalone, total gas-in-mud detector

1989 - The HRH company is formed by three experienced oil and gas industry geologists. The first HRH office is established in Aberdeen, UK with 2 employees.
