HRH Geology is looking for a committed Operations co-ordinator to work as part of our GeoPlacer team for a 12 month contract. The position is based in Aberdeen, UK, in our head office.
You will support the running and the growth of GeoPlacer and act as focal point for client and field geologist enquiries regarding our operations and field staff availability. You will build a good rapport and strong working relationships with our clients and geologists alike to ensure that all enquiries and opportunities are actioned promptly.
We are looking for an excellent communicator who can successfully build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and respond to queries quickly, ensure that all contractual details are relayed to field geologists, and oversee the mobilisations/de-mobilisations and crew changes for GeoPlacer personnel.
Main duties: Act as focal point for client and field geologist enquiries about GeoPlacer operations and field staff availability Liaise with clients and field geologists to organise the (de)mobilisations and crew changes of GeoPlacer representatives Ensure co-workers and field geologists have all the relevant documentation required for undertaking a job Liaise with clients on operational level and monitor client feedback/sentiment Ensure contractual details are relayed to field geologists for every job Support and provide cover for GeoPlacer Logistics Co-ordinators as required Assist in the tendering process as required, including (but not limited to) the preparation of candidate CVs and customer quotations Action enquiries and sales opportunities presented from (potential) GeoPlacer clients Build a good rapport and strong working relationship with an assigned group of clients and field geologists Manage the interactions between selected groups of clients and the consultants who maintain their contracts Support the Operations Consultancy Manager in contacting consultants for potential opportunities, availability and logistics Liaise with existing clients regarding new work feeding back intel. to Operations Consultancy Manager Maintain existing contracts to ensure annual review and renegotiations can be planned and implemented by coordinating with Operations Consultancy Manager Ensure a smooth transition between the conclusion of a sales deal to the implementation and invoicing of the service Assist in the development of processes, procedures and QMS for the GeoPlacer business Collate information and data for monthly reports and KPI’s Administer field staff timesheets and job tickets and monthly revenue calculations Monitor Salesnet actions and information which relates to offshore/onshore operations Study market in order to establish upcoming client requirements Approach new and existing clients regarding future operations in collaboration with sales team and Operations and Consultancy Manager
