Account Manager – Aberdeen

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team on a permanent basis in our Aberdeen headquarters.

Based within our Sales Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for business development related to HRH’s Software and Technical Service offerings. The position is strategically key to delivering the company’s growth objectives.

Location: Aberdeen (Office/Home working Hybrid)
Purpose: To find, develop, progress and close sales opportunities/deals and promote HRH core products and services to the Energy
Industry.

 

Accountabilities: Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
  • To build client opportunities and sales pipeline in the defined territories of focus
  • To establish and develop a portfolio of new clients and build/maintain relationships within these accounts
  • Arrange and attend sales meetings and present HRH Geology’s product and services to ensure prospective clients are aware of HRH’s core products and services
  • Determine client requirements and where HRH Geology’s products and services can add value to (prospective) clients
  • Attend and promote HRH Geology at Exhibitions,Conferences, and network Events
Delivery of Sales Plan:
  • To meet sales targets for revenues across product and service lines
  • To develop and progress sales pipeline, in line with company and plan objectives
  • To demonstrate a steady consistent performance by way of selling HRH products and services
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts for the provision of HRH products and services
Account Management:
  • Maintain regular contact with accounts/customers and ensure that they have an accurate knowledge of HRH’s current products and services.
  • Make regular sales trips
  • To prepare and seek authorisation of commercial proposals for any HRH products and services.
  • To maintain accurate records of the sales process by means of the appropriate company systems.

Internal co-ordination and communication:
  • Liaise with departmental heads to ensure co-ordination of resources to fulfil any work obligations and to provide consistency of sales effort
  • To advise appropriate department heads of any new sales opportunities and deal progression
  • To demonstrate a steady consistent performance by way of selling HRH products and services
  • Work with colleagues within the sales team, as required,on sales initiatives and campaigns
General:
  • To follow HRH Health and Safety procedures at all times
  • To develop and progress sales pipeline, in line with company and plan objectives
  • To follow HRH HR Policies & Procedures at all times
  • A reasonable amount of travel is expected in this role
Key Skills:
  • Effective selling skills
  • Mastery of English (oral and written)
  • To demonstrate a steady consistent performance by way of selling HRH products and services
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Competent in negotiating
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in IT
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of Operational Geology and/or Drilling
  • Experience selling into international markets
  • To demonstrate a steady consistent performance by way of selling HRH products and services
  • Experience in a consultative selling role/li>
  • Degree in Earth Sciences

Based within our Software and Services Departments, these important roles drive the use of our commercial product, GravitasEDGE, and our specialist services that place us at the leading edge of the energy sector. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their successful use of our products and through your relationships identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Build/maintain relationships with key clients
Build opportunities within our client base that contribute to the delivery of our revenue targets
Arrange and attend client meetings and present HRH Geology’s product and services
Determine client requirements and identify where HRH Geology’s products and services can add value
Attend and promote HRH Geology at Exhibitions, Conferences, and network events
Account Management: Maintain regular contact with accounts/customers and ensure that they have an accurate knowledge of HRH’s current products and services
Understand account plans/objectives for each account and work with relevant manager to achieve company goals
Make regular client visits
Support delivery of commercial proposals
Internal Communications: Collaborate effectively to ensure our clients maximise return on their investment in HRH produces and services
Support the business delivering best in class solutions
Maintain accurate records of client contact by means of the appropriate company systems
Key Skills: Degree in Technology or Earth Sciences (or equivalent work experience)
Excellent Presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for technology
Interest in developing new skills relevant to our sector
