Calculations from WITS data

Raw WITS data received from the sending system may be averaged over the appropriate depth, time or lagged depth intervals. WinDART allows multiple intervals to be computed simultaneously from the same data source.

The type of calculation may be specified for each channel. Simple averaging, minimum, maximum, etc may be specified. For example, from a single ROP source channel, the average, minimum, and maximum may be calculated over the interval.

Channel and group settings are remembered to simplify set-up.

WinDART has its own lag calculation and monitor which may be used in conjunction with its Rig Activity Status device to lag values received in real-time from the WITS stream (e.g. gas data).
